Types of

Artificial Hair
Human
natural hair, synthetic
hair, or blends of the both
are used for making Hair
extensions.
In synthetic hair mainly
Synthetic fibers, Kanekalon
and Toyokalon are used. This
type of hair is less
expensive as compare to
human hair. As well as it is
available in a broad range
of textures, colors.
Bulk hair-
Bulk hairs
are not attached to a weft
track.
Bulk hairs may be
synthetic or natural. Bulk
hair is often used in
braiding with extensions and
special bonding methods.
Wefts-
Generally hair extensions
are sold in weft form. In
this weft stitching at the
top holds the hair
together. Weft may be
synthetic or natural with
broad range of color and
texture.
Texture
There are broad ranges of
textures from bone-straight
to super-curly. Its exact
names vary by brand. A few
textures as follows,
- Bone straight, usually
mimicking the straightness
of Asian hair.
Yaki, European, Deep Wave,
Loose Deep Wave or Romance
Wave, Jheri Curl (nappy
tracks), Wet and Wavy
(Spanish Wave or Indian
Wave) etc…
